Chess is an individual board game which requires a lot of clever mental thinking. It is played between two players on a board of 64 squares. This game is purely based upon a strong strategy and tactics. Thus, you need not blame your bad luck for a lost game of chess. It can be a very complex game if both the players are highly intelligent in terms of using different tactics and lines of attack. Some people believe that Chess is an abstract war-game.
Chess became more popular in the 15th century not only in one country but around the globe and this trend continues till the present day. It is inspired by an Indian game called “shatranj”. Modern day chess was originated in Europe. You cannot just randomly move from square to square, it has a set pattern of rules which you have to follow.
